Alexandria, Virginia – The International Sleep Products Association (ISPA) has made several appointments to the leadership team of the Better Sleep Council (BSC).
Julia Rosien, who has been a committee member for the past few years, is to be BSC’s new chair. She is brand director at Restonic Mattress, having started with the company in the role of brand engineer in 2013.
‘Julia’s appointment to chair of the Better Sleep Council will be a tremendous asset to the process of reaching today’s connected consumer,’ said Ron Passaglia, Restonic’s president and CEO. ‘Her deep understanding of how to digitally interact with consumers will enhance the BSC’s outreach and improve understanding of the importance of consumer education in the bedding industry.’
Replacing Rosien as vice chair will be Brent Limer, chief sales officer at Latexco. Also joining the committee is Tim Witherell, director of sales at Hickory Springs Manufacturing.
‘We welcome Julia, Brent and Tim to their new roles on the BSC,’ said ISPA president Ryan Trainer. ‘This is a dynamic group that will benefit greatly from their industry experiences and insights. I thank them for volunteering their time, talents and energy to these positions.’
