Houston, Texas – Lapolla Industries’ Foam-Lok 2000 4G has been selected as a ‘Hot 50 Products’ by Green Builder magazine. The closed-cell spray foam insulation uses a foam blowing agent with no ozone depletion potential, and ultra-low global warming potential.
Instead of traditional hydrofluorocarbons, the foam uses Honeywell’s Solstice liquid blowing agent. This next-generation product is said to improve foam performance while delivering environmental benefits.
“Lapolla made a commitment to reduce the use and emissions of [the] potent greenhouse gases hydrofluorocarbons in its energy-efficient spray foam products,” said the company’s chief executive and president, Doug Kramer. “We have done just that with our next generation 4G technology.”
