Houston, Texas – Lapolla Industries has introduced an improved spray polyurethane foam insulation product, Foam-Lok 500. The low-density, high-yield open-cell insulation is designed to seal the building envelope, enhancing energy conservation and savings, the company says.
It can be used on walls, floors, attics and ceilings, including vaulted and cathedral-style ceilings, in both residential and commercial settings. The foam forms a completely sealed air barrier in wall cavities, and can fill a 2”x 6” (5 x 15 cm) stud wall construction in a single application.
The product has passed AC 377 End Use configuration criteria, and meets building code requirements with no additional ignition barrier. It requires no mixing, is water-blown, and uses only non-emissive catalysts.
