Brzeg Dolny, Poland – Earnings in PCC Rokita’s polyurethane business segment rose by 41% in the first quarter of 2108 compared with 2017.
The division recorded EBITDA of PLN 14 m in the segment compared with PLN 10m in the 2017 quarter
The company said that sales of polyether polyols in January and February 2018 were strong, but fell away in March. However, while sales remained about the same in volume terms as in the 2107 quarter, margins improved. The company added that it has ‘high hopes for rapid growth’ in the polyurethane systems segment.
It also exported materials to Egypt, Spain, China and Lithuania.
