Washington, DC – The American Chemistry Council’s Center for the Polyurethanes Industry (CPI) has added a portal on colour science and colourant technology in polyurethane chemistry.
CPI has also created a hub to give members easier access to the services offered by its Education Center – where the new colour hub sits.
Designed for both newcomers to the polyurethane industry and those with long-established careers in the sector, the evolving resource will help them keep up-to-date with the latest advances in technology, regulations and emerging issues concerning the industry, the organisation said.
“For more than a decade, CPI has provided the industry with the most up-to-date information about polyurethane,” said Lee Krinzman, CPI’s manager for industry affairs. “Now, through the CPI Education Center, we are adding diverse learning opportunities, and expanding our course offerings to better meet the needs of the industry.”
Live webinars are one of the centre’s offerings, with two webinars on colour science and technology set to run on 3 May and 14 June 2016. In addition, CPI will run professional development programme classes alongside its annual Polyurethanes Technical Conference in Baltimore at the end of September. There are also plans to offer on-demand learning.
