Auckland, New Zealand-Transit New Zealand, a government road traffic body, has warned motorists in Auckland that there are likely to be delays to motorway traffic on the Auckland Harbour Bridge (AHB) during and after the Christms holiday period, because the bridge surface is to be resealed with polyurethane. The project “is part of continuing resealing work essential to the upkeep of the Harbour Bridge,” said a press statement, which added that “application of a new polyurethane surface will result in fewer delays due to lower maintenance requirements.” “
