Volgograd, Russia – Isopan has started supplying aluminium coated sandwich panels to the Russian food industry from its plant in Volgograd.
The company has been in Russia for three years. It claims to be one of the top-10 producers of insulated metal panels in the country. In addition to significant PIR/PUR panel production, the 30,000 m2 site also produces mineral wool-filled panels.
The Volgograd plant has capacity for 3 km2 /year of PU/PIR and mineral wool panels, according to Francesco Manni, Manni Group president. Isopan Rus is a subsidiary of Manni. The plant can produce both types of panel at the same time, he added.
Francesco Manni attended a meeting with Russian President, Vladimir Putin and the Italian Prime Minister, Giuseppe Conte, in late October.
According to the Italian-Russian Chamber of Commerce online magazine, they discussed how to develop Russian-Italian cooperation despite the current sanctions imposed on Russia by the EU.
