Toronto, Ontario – ULC has issued its first evaluation report in Canada for spray polyurethane foam and coatings to Accella Polyurethane Systems Canada.
These evaluation reports are used to provide technical evidence that a new or alternative material, product, design or method of construction complies with the intent of building codes.
Accella has been supplying SPF and coating systems in Canada for more than 30 years.
‘By partnering with ULC Evaluation Report services, today we can offer to the Canadian public the additional assurance that Foamsulate 50 Eplus is third-party verified by a leader in underwriting construction materials and the follow-up procedures they perform,’ said Iain Stuart, the company’s Canadian specifications manager.
‘We’re pleased to issue this Evaluation Report for polyurethane foam and coatings,’ said ULC general manager Joe Hosey.
‘ULC’s goal is to support innovative market solutions with reliable science-based repeatable testing and certification offerings, as we have done in Canada since 1920.
We want to congratulate Accella Polyurethane Systems Canada on taking on a market leadership role in this area, as this is ULC’s first evaluation report of this kind in Canada.’
