Charlotte, North Carolina – Demand Products, based in Alpharetta, Georgia, is now distributing FEMA equipment in North America. It is the Italian company’s first US distributor.
The range includes CNC equipment, slitters and convoluters. Demand’s technical sales manager Ryan Norstadt said that customers have been carrying out a lot of test cutting with FEMA, sending containers of materials to Italy to be cut.
Demand first showed the FEMA machines at the US International Sleep Products Association meeting in March 2018. The demo machine that was on its stand there has been sold to a company in the Midwest, and Norstadt added that they have since sold two more.
‘It’s a challenge to introduce a new system, but FEMA has a good reputation in Europe, and we have a feeling it will translate well into the US,’ he said. Demand’s Atlanta-based technical support staff have been trained by FEMA in Italy.
